She was the best and worst cat on the same day. Her amazing jumping skills will go down in history. She had a crab walk that was unsettling and made you believe she was a actual crab (this is subject to debate in the greater universe). Her puffy tail antics were legendary amongst all. She was my favorite cat and I was without a doubt her favorite person.
A complex animal needs a grounded person. I think thats why she liked me, because even though I have an outward persona of calm insanity at times. I for the most part am a pretty even keeled kinda man. I like to think she found comfort in that and in return confided her kitty secrets to me. She was a great companion at times.
If she let you pet her it was a treat, her purrrr’s and approval were not easy to attain. She would trick you at times with a move I call human fishing. As soon as your hand got close to her belly she would let you have it. I think she took great satisfaction in tricking people and then yelling at them like they were great fools.
She didn’t deserve the end she met. Who does. I’m quite sure she taunted the animal that eventually ripped a hole in our fence and ended her life. She maybe even wanted that fight. Like many things we will never know what she thought, but I hope she poked that son of a bitch right in the eye.
Rest in Peace you strange amazing soul you will be missed.
